Adventuring Outdoors

Adventuring outdoors and spending your time in nature has many health benefits. It gives you time to relax, and breathe in fresh air. You can get away from the stressors of your work life, or crazy family!

Being outdoors stimulates brain function, plus you're guaranteed to see something cool. It can increase your concentration skills, and increase creativity. That may also come in handy if you go to take a picture-your professional photographer skills will shine through! It's one of my favorite things to do. It's something fun, interesting, and often calming to do either alone or with a friend.

Many people feel they can't make the time to go outside with their busy schedules. But you can make the time. Put down your phone and close you laptop-go on a 30 minute bike ride or a walk around your neighborhood with your dog. Time away from you busy environment allows the mind to relax and see new things. It's been found that walking increase creative production. Sometimes you just need a break. Make time your body & mind to unwind, and you'll return to any task feeling better. Once you've had time to decompress and gather your thoughts, you'll be more in-tune with your actions & decisions.

As we all know, being in the sun is the best feeling. But did you know that it's good for you too? The sun's rays give humans a healthy dose of vitamin D-that is of course if you don't burn. So going for a walk in the sun or doing some yard work gives you the perfect amount that your body may need.

Overall, spending time outside relaxes humans. Natural sights and smells relax the brain and can lower stress levels. Ever notice how your outdoorsy neighbor is always so relaxed and calm? They're always exposed to fresh air and natural elements.
